This is a good pad for a horse that doesn't get into their heels well, ie; navicular, poor digital cushion, under run heels, etc. The 6# Natural is more resilient than the 4# white. Good for transporting long distances.  These pads are used inside hoof boots and in combination with other pads. I have found horses who are sore in the back of the hoof love this pad.
